Mistakes Beginners Like Me Make in Crypto

When I first got into crypto, I thought I was being smart finally joining the future of money. But I made a lot of silly mistakes. If you're new like me, maybe this will save you some stress.

1. Jumping in Without Understanding Anything
   I saw people talking about Bitcoin, Ethereum, altcoins and I just rushed in. I didn’t read whitepapers, didn’t understand what the coins did I just followed hype. Big mistake. I once bought a random token just because someone on Twitter said it’s going to the moon. It didn’t. It went to the floor.

2. Chasing Pumps
   This one hurts. The moment I saw a coin rising fast, I’d buy it. No plan, no strategy. Of course, I usually bought at the top, and then it crashed.
   fear of missing outis real, and it’s dangerous.

3. Not Taking Profits
   There were times I made small profits but thought, Let me wait a bit more, it’ll go higher. Guess what? It didn’t. I ended up with less than I started. Now I’ve learned
   take profits when you can, even small ones.

4. Using My Last Kobo to Invest
   There were moments I used money I couldn’t afford to lose, thinking crypto was a sure thing. Never again. This market is wild
   sometimes green, sometimes blood red. Now I only use extra money, not my feeding money.

5. Ignoring Security
   At first, I used weak passwords, no 2FA, and didn’t care much about where I stored my crypto. Luckily, I didn’t get hacked, but I came close. Now I treat my crypto like real money because it is.

Final Thoughts:
Crypto is exciting, no doubt. But it’s also risky and emotional. I’m still learning, still making small mistakes but I’m doing better each day. If you’re new like me, go slow, ask questions, and don’t try to get rich overnight.
