Little taste of summer [plus a little web3 wondering]

Judging by today's rainy weather, this blog I yesterday prepared for you, might be called a fiction, or even a lie. xD But this kind of unpredictable and deceptive weather is nothing unusual for May in Serbia. You know that saying: May is called May because it "may be sunny, it may be rainy". (:

Except that it's June now, but if I hadn't looked at the calendar just now, I honestly wouldn't have known it, ahaha.

That's exactly how it's been these few days. The weather has been pretty unreliable, changing from one moment to the next. The thing is, my head always seems to sense the change in advance, so there have been quite a few jokes at my expense lately that I'm Baba Vanga. Baba Vanga was a blind Bulgarian mystic, herbalist and clairvoyant who spent decades making alleged predictions about global events, including the Chernobyl disaster, 9/11 attacks etc.

You've probably heard of her at some point, especially if you're from this part of Europe.

Anyway, the moment I get a headache, a pain in my temple and even in my eye, I say "It's going to rain." Not even a few seconds later, the sky transforms from bright and sunny into a full-on autumn landscape. Autumn? What? It's only spring, hold on, winter! Not so fast! :D
Summer is just around the corner, which means this community will soon be blooming with great blog posts full of that summer vibe! And yesterday was exactly that kind of day, believe me, at least for a good part of it, until the afternoon. More than enough time for some quality sunbathing in the backyard, ice cream and ofc: cherrieees! 🍒

Who else eats those two together besides me? Are any of you fellow weirdos out there? Speak up, don't be shy, you are not alone. xD

It was actually a great combination. The cherries toned down the sweetness of the ice cream just enough and balanced it into a somewhat healthy treat. Then, of course, I ate another handful of them just to satisfy my sweet tooth even more. Not that they're overly sweet; they are exactly how cherries should be. Gently sweet, with a slightly firmer texture... absolutely perfect!

Before the sky completely opened up, I took advantage of the weather and went for a walk down to our pond, wandered around the property and snapped a few more photos. I have so many pictures of nature in my gallery that they've actually outnumbered all those silly selfies from the early Facebook and Instagram days that I still keep; and believe me, there were thousands of them as well. xD

That's why I try to fit the best ones into my blogs here and then delete them from my phone or Google Photos. They're preserved much better here anyway, accompanied by a nice story.

Now that I think about it, as long as the internet exists, there will be Web3 and Hive too, right? 😁

I'm not exactly tech-savvy; actually, not even close, and even if you explained it to me in simple terms, I'd probably ask you to draw it for me because I'm much more of a visual person. So don't feel like you need to explain it or put any effort into that; this is more just me thinking out loud. (:

What have you been thinking about lately? Do you tend to overthink or do you enjoy each moment without burdening your mind with a thousand unnecessary thoughts?

I've always wondered about that too... Can someone who is naturally wired to overthink actually stop doing it and vice versa? Or maybe, these days, there simply isn't anyone who doesn't struggle with it, considering the overwhelming amount of information we absorb every single day like we are sponges, whether we want to or not..

Think about that... or don't! It's your choice, hihi. <3

Thank you so much for reading! Sending summer vibes to everyone! ☀️ :*
