Low Mana, Big Victory! My 17 Mana Splinterlands Battle
Hello Splinterlands players, how are you? I hope your season is going well, mine is also going well according to me. There are still a few days left for the season to end and this time I am playing Frontier and Modern as I used to do earlier. Last season I also played Wild but it was not that profitable I think. So this time I am not playing just Frontier and Modern, for now let's see how the rest of the season goes, only time will tell. See, earlier I used to care about how many battles I am winning or how many battles I am drawing but now I don't worry about this thing, I just focus on the rewards and my focus is that I will keep selecting the rewards and some amazing battle comes. And today I am going to share with you all a very good battle which I did just a few hours ago, I hope you will like it and you must share your thoughts in the comment section below, thank you.
As you can see the mana cap was 17, and with a low mana cap you have very limited options. I don't have that many good summoners to play in Modern, but I have some good ones in Frontier that I can use there. Which have been very useful for me. Last week I maxed My Fire as you can see. Thanks to one of the pro players, it's because of him that everything happened here. So to be honest he was the one who suggested me to do this. And you can see that I could use the Fire, Earth, Water, Life, and Dragon elements. And I used the Fire element and you can see which rule sets were used during the battle, and you can read about them in detail below.
Rulesets -:
- Standard -
- No change to standard gameplay rules or mechanics.
- This is the only modifier available in Wood.
| Summoner | ||
|---|---|---|
| S.NO. | My | Opponent |
| 1. | Barthalamas (LVL 4) | Chuul Jujinchi (LVl 5) |
| Monsters | ||
|---|---|---|
| S.NO. | My | Opponent |
| 1. | Drybone Megalodon (LVL 4) | Saltwraith Bulkhead (LVl 4) |
| 2. | Halfling Refugee (LVL 2) | Lifeward Channeler (LVl 4) |
| 3. | Kha'zi Conjurer (LVL 2) | Phlegmunculus (LVl 4) |
| 4. | --- | Halfling Refugee (LVl 3) |
| 5. | --- | Albahoo Forester (LVl 5) |
You can see above which cards I and my opponent were using and what their levels were.
As you can see, my summoner was of level 4 and the opponent's summoner was of level 5. I was getting an disadvantage because the opponent had almost 5 cards and I had used only three cards. Since I did not have any space left, I used my cards very wisely. My strategy behind using the card I had used in the first place was that I could convert the melee cards in the second place into with a reach monster ability. See, when you have less mana cap, your choices become very limited. As you can see, one of my opponent's cards was gone from the battlefield, which was a good thing for me. He was quite powerful, which helped me a lot.
Round 3 was not even over yet and the opponent has only three cards left and the opponent had used some cards in a very different way which I found quite strange. You can see that right now all my three cards are in perfect health and I have only about three of mine left and their health was also not that much but you can see that the speed of all my cards was also quite good and the health is also fine.
By the end of Round 4, you could see that the opponent had only two cards left. One of those cards had no take power of any kind. The first card still in the battle was interesting it had healing power. This could have been a bit of a problem for me, but it didn't happen. Because I was still in good shape with almost two cards, which was a very good thing for me.
The opponent still has two cards left, which is a matter of concern for me because you can't be sure that you will win until the battle is over, but sometimes the results are there, they tell a lot about how the battle is going, but sometimes it can be a little difficult to decide.
Finally, by the end of Round 5, all the opponent's cards were gone. Which was a very happy moment for me. In fact, the opponents cards were quite powerful, I also had quite good cards due to which the battle was very tough, now what do you think about this.
