Cars. My Actifit diary: July 16 2026

While the market was going today - Kami sold almost all.of her cookies, and I sold those of mine that were left -, there was an important thing in the afternoon. The vehicle inspection.

It's generally not much of a hassle. But when my brother bought a car which he has to register on my name due to bureaucracy in Ecuador, he didn't want to go through even more bureaucracy, and I didn't either. So he paid someone to do that. Quite normal here.

But not really legal. So, the whole corruption ring blew up eventually, and now I had to do it myself. I'm with time, and a friend went with me, and we had a great time waiting. All went well, I just have to return tomorrow to get the new and non-fake registration done. No system today! A phrase way too common to those who live here.

Still, a somewhat good day. Wrote a post on the main account that is gaining traction. It has been a while since that happened. It's a good post, I think, and it feels good that it's recognized.
