Kasar devi temple : the Van Allen Belt..

Today we had gone to Kasar Devi Temple, which is a village located at a distance of 8 km from Almora. Which is famous by the name of Kasar Devi Temple. It is said that this temple is from the second century. It is believed about the temple that Mother Goddess had come in real incarnation.

It is said that there is a temple in India where magnetic field is present. There are many places around the temple where there are large magnetic land masses.

Kasar Devi is one of the 108 Peethas in India where Goddess Kali is worshiped along with her sisters Saraswati and Lakshmi.

Kasar Devi is the place where Swami Vivekananda also came and meditated here, since then this place and the temple have become famous among all kinds of travelers. Swami Vivekananda liked this place so much that he even mentioned it in his writings.

Kasar Devi became so popular among the people that people from all over the country and abroad came here to see it. Some famous people also visited, such as Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Cat Stevens, Allen Ginsberg and Timothy Leary.

This place, Hippie Hill, was built in the decade of hippie culture in the 70s.

This temple is very famous among the pilgrimage sites, Kasar Mela is organized every year on Kartik Purnima. Which is very famous. Where not only the people from nearby but also people from all over the country and abroad come here. It is very famous not only in the country but also abroad.

The area around Kasar Devi Temple is the Van Allen Belt where there are large magnetic earth bodies inside the ground. Many powers are associated with this temple. To find out, NASA scientists had also come here to find out, but they too could not find out properly and had to return empty handed.
