VICIOUS CYCLE OR CAPITAL DRAIN?

Even though a newbie in this community, but I have been following stuffs about steemit.com and cryptocurrencies, and I have subjectively find out the inextricable link between platforms like steemit, zappl, dmania and the like.

But, on the other hand, I asked which is hosting which? And again, is the interchangeability between them equal in all respect or is the game of bureau de change. As a newbie these two questions are posers to me, they require surgery from great steemians guru or cryptocurrencists.

However, the interaction between the duo, as it appears me, if it is so, is a kind of capital drain _ that is, more capital is being drain from steemit to cryptocurrency than from cryptocurrency to steemit and the like.

Or else, is a vicious cycle, having reciprocal relationship or symbiotic coexistence.
