Painless Pain Poem

img_cover_3.JPEG

You do too much complain
Calling me sorts of names

Some crying I'm aching dull
Throbbing, or piercing pain

Curse me not, it is full love
But all on me is your hatred

For I am never understood
My innocence is concealed

My good job never appreciated
No credit and no commendation

I'm your best friend if you knew
But you all pretend knew not

The always chief complaint
As if I was the right culprit

I am none but your messenger
Not less than trusted informer

Giving you inside information
About what wrong the body

Just symptom not syndrome
Just warner not disease per sei

But I am always in custody
To be tried by kangaroo courts

Sometimes tried before NSAIDs
Sometimes appealed to Opoids

Treat the cause, leave me alone
Specially if I'm musculoskeletal

But all are turning deaf ears
Only Physios hear my cries

Thanks for blaming me not
You arrest the correct culprit

Addressing the right cause
Leaving the innocent alone

Manipulating the soft tissues
Relieving the noxious feelings

No ingestion, no digestion
No distribution, no elimination

No half life, no serum level
No side effect, no interaction

Zero hour onset of action
From the worst to no pain

As am going you better know
I remain your best sweet friend

My good name is Painless Pain
And I remain painlessly yours
