Day 2: A sunny day

Told you I was gonna draw! So I return with a drawing! And I had to check and apparently it has been 2 months since I actually posted or had the time to be around again so now I wonder how long I can beactive this time around cuz mining season is just so unpredictable and I hate this uncertainty. I have tried just pointing and sketching tho but that could only take me so far. I am hoping to do fan art again to see if I can save up hive again but for now, I just wanna be active.
And I was catching up to the prompts I was following and so here is my day 2 UwU a sunny day
Tho it's anything but sunny but for me, I it's a sunny day, I'd just wish to be a fish in water like this

Materials: Watercolor, pencil colors, white acrylic marker
Duration: 1.5 hours

Well, it took 2 hours cuz of the drying but yes UwU I love my fishes! I would say that I'm happy my art is a lot more colorful and still colorful and that my color theory and blending is still pretty on point XD

But to get to my pretty fishes, I started with blob and a really messy watercolor base

Then after that dried , I had to pen it in a little cuz my pencil lines got smudged and I needed definition here. So I did the rocks and plants and the fish

Then I kind of just did another layer of watercolor so I wouldn't have to try filling so much of he gap and texture with pencil color because my brain works like that, always wanting to do a solid color then adding in details with different testures and quite honestly, I tihink the pencil color part was what took the longest because I was switching between 2-4 pencils with different shades and I was also just debating on how to do the fih in water.

Overall, I think stressing over the process made it com out well for me and that makes me happy because I came out good and cuI still got it in me UwU

For now, this is it for me! I have a fun run to attend to tomorrow so I'll have to keep you guys posted on that and how much I've been training in the gym lately on top o work too.
