What do I do now?
Having never used a blogging platform in my life, entering this world is a little unsettling. Up until recently, most of my public exposure has been on a Facebook group where I post on topics related to environmental sustainability.
A friend of mine told me about this platform. He often writes short stories or articles which get posted to Facebook. That is how I came to find out about this platform and read my first article.
As eager as I was to use Steemit, setting up a profile takes time. I remember thinking I would be able to use it the same day. In reality, it takes about a week to finalize the profile, according to the set-up page. Fortunately, it was only about three days.
Now that I'm on here, kind of nervous. It sort of feels like the big leagues. Here is a real blogging platform. I've graduated from the realm of Facebook, free to post anything to this big wide world. That begs the question "what do I do now?"
