Checking the Weather

There is something about checking the weather. Perhaps checking the weather leads me to feel more in control. Often I find myself checking the weather when life feels out of control. There is comfort associated with checking the weather.

When we check the weather, we find predictions for the days to come. Will those predictions actually play out?

Either way, it's almost as if you feel more in control of your future. If you know the weather than you may plan your future according to the weather.

In that way, there is safety associated with knowing the weather. There is safety in knowing that the plans you made will not be affected by the weather, because you checked the weather.
