As I approached the entrance, my suspicions were confirmed; on the left, a sign proclaimed "Café Literario Marqués de Arcos." On the right, a plaque revealed that I was in front of the House of Poetry, adorned with a fragment of a poem by Eliseo Diego. An irresistible call to contemplation. If you want to enjoy an exquisite coffee and a moment of peace in an inspiring setting, you only have to go to Mercaderes Street, between San Ignacio and San Juan de Dios.

The supporting pillars on the second floor are covered with full black ceramic tiles, while the plain white ceiling matches the fans installed at several points. Another detail that I mentioned is the white carvings that blend in with the color of the ceiling. It is a bit unfortunate because the color is too similar, so the luxurious impression and beautiful details of the carvings are not visible. While on the side there is a curved window with a bright white frame.

This is its rear part. I love the shape of the columns and its windows. It is unusual to see a shopping center with this design, which I really liked. It has a tropical atmosphere with the ornamentation that these beautiful palms have. This is part of their ornamentation and has the particularity that they chose to do it with palms, creating a beautiful tropical environmental design. I love these plants, as well as the design of the floor looks like the one they use in some squares or promenades.
