The inside is not very big, but it is very well distributed and has air conditioning, good light and stores that are mostly clothing, but there are also other establishments like those you would find in any mall. I am very impressed by the entrance of natural light through windows that are strategically located, that makes artificial light is not necessary on the second floor at least during the day. We can also find the Forum supermarket, a national franchise that came to set up its first establishment in this city.

Mérida is an excellent producer of this cereal, that is why our traditional arepas are not made of corn, but of wheat, and in ancient times, before the arrival of technology and especially before the importation of processed flour, they used these mills that worked thanks to the energy of water. Upon entering, you find a beautiful facade in light blue. This is one of my favorite colors for walls, because it is a color that inspires serenity.

This fortress has been transformed into a museum. Inside we can learn about life in the castle in previous centuries and also the naval history of Cuba through the years, among other facts and objects of historical interest. Although this tour only takes in the area of the large outdoor Plaza, I am sure you will like all the interesting things that are here; a wooden bridge that gives access to the main entrance arch and a wide esplanade covered with old cannons.
