¡¡Hola a todos!! Una de las cosas que más disfruto de esta región donde habito es su cultura gastronómica, poder salir un domingo en la mañana a pasear o a hacer un poco de ejercicios y al finalizar ir a comer en algunos de los sitios que nos ofrece la localidad. También están abiertos de lunes a lunes en las mañanas, pero yo los disfruto más los fines de semana.

Hello everyone!! One of the things that I enjoy most about this region where I live is its gastronomic culture, being able to go out on a Sunday morning for a walk or to do a little exercise and at the end go to eat in some of the places that the town offers us. They are also open from Monday to Monday in the mornings, but I enjoy them more on the weekends.

Como muchos saben, en esta zona es típico desayunar como dicen por ahí “bien resuelto”, unas buenas arepas, pastelitos, empanadas, o cachapas. Hay dos sitios que disfruto en El Tigre y en El Tigrito, recuerden que las dos ciudades hermanitas están pegadas y nunca sabremos dónde finaliza una y comienza la otra, sólo que hay una larga avenida bien poblada que las une.

En El Tigre tenemos un sitio bien turístico en plena ciudad, en la Av. Rotaria, que es la vía que comunica al resto del estado Anzoátegui con el estado Bolívar. Todos los que vienen de la capital del país, del estado Miranda, o de las demás ciudades del este estado, deben pasar por esa vía, y allí se encuentra un local que se llama “El Arepazo”, donde preparan unas deliciosas arepas con cochino frito que vale la pena repetir. Nos ofrecen una gran variedad de salsas para acompañarlas. A veces llega tanta gente que no caben en el lugar y comen a los alrededores.

There are two places that I enjoy in El Tigre and El Tigrito, remember that the two sister cities are close together and we will never know where one ends and the other begins, only that there is a long well-populated avenue that unites them.

In El Tigre we have a good tourist site in the middle of the city, on Av. Rotaria, which is the road that connects the rest of Anzoátegui state with Bolívar state. All those who come from the capital of the country, from the state of Miranda, or from the other cities of this state, must go through that route, and there is a place called "El Arepazo", where they prepare delicious arepas with pork. fried that is worth repeating. El otro sitio que me gusta visitar en El Tigrito, es una venta de cachapas que queda a una cuadra del semáforo del Centro Comercial Malaver 1, allí no sólo nos ofrecen las deliciosas cachapas con queso de mano y los bollitos de maíz, sino que venden la masa para hacerla y algo muy rico que a mí me encanta, los deliciosos chicharrones.

Así como estos hay varios locales en la ciudad con ventas de comidas típicas como sancochos, y parrillas que nos sirven para resolver el almuerzo o la cena del fin de semana.

The other place that I like to visit in El Tigrito is a cachapas shop that is one block from the traffic light of the Malaver 1 Shopping Center, there they not only offer us the delicious cachapas with hand cheese and corn buns, but they also sell the dough to make it and something very tasty that I love, the delicious pork rinds.

As well as these, there are several places in the city with typical food sales such as sancochos, and grills that serve us to solve lunch or dinner on the weekend.
