STAGECOACHES BETWEEN THE TWO CITIES (En - Es)

Good morning everyone, have a blessed weekend.
This week was a bit hectic since I had errands to run and rain practically greeted me every morning. Even so, I packed an umbrella and a coat to go out, and luckily it hasn't been downpours, at least not during the morning hours. However, in the afternoons, it has been very heavy rain every day.
Wednesday was my weekly grocery shopping day, which I managed to do very early. Afterward, I returned home to continue with my daily tasks.
On Thursday, I finally completed an errand I had been putting off for a couple of years because of how tedious the trip was. It involved transferring my pension documents to the social security office, which meant going to the administrative office that has been in the same location for almost 50 years and is quite far from where I live.
The social security office has two branches: an administrative one in Guanipa and a health branch in El Tigre. Both offices serve both cities. The administrative office is located in an area that wasn't so populated many years ago, but is now extremely densely populated, and getting there is like entering a maze of small houses. If we go by car, we know we can get there directly from the main avenue with just one turn, but if I take public transportation, I have to take two buses, and the last one takes a long, circuitous route before finally dropping me off. It's not the safest place in the world, and it was quite deserted that morning, but I couldn't put off running that errand any longer.
On the way there, since it was very early, I took the opportunity to take photos of the plaza and the San José Church, where my eldest son was baptized. That part of town is very old, and the little houses and alleyways are characteristic of the plains towns. Some streets are still unpaved, and the houses are very old, in the style of yesteryear. Guanipa, in its old-world area, has very traditional structures, in the best style of the plains towns. None of the houses have modern features, and that makes the place more picturesque and traditional. After taking many photos, I returned home, but I have several visits scheduled at this office in the coming days.
Yesterday, I decided to start the day more relaxed, and although my perfect plan for a relaxed day is not to get out of bed early, the relaxation was different. I went to the gym, which I had missed several days due to errands. But yesterday's routine wasn't functional exercises; it was Hawaiian dance therapy. I know it has a name, but I can't remember it.
It was a relaxing two hours that flew by. It was a mix of gentle dance, yoga, and a few short functional exercises. It was a wonderful way to end a hectic week. I felt relief not only in my body but also in my mind, and it helped me better focus my thoughts for the coming days.
Today I have an invitation for wine and karaoke. I'm not sure yet if I'll accept, but if I do, I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for visiting my blog, and have a great weekend everyone!

Buenos días comunidad, bendecido fin de semana para todos.
Esta semana fue un poquito movida ya que tenía diligencias pendientes y la lluvia prácticamente me recibía cada mañana. Aún así, me armé con paraguas y abrigo para salir, y por suerte no han sido aguaceros, al menos durante las horas de la mañana, ya en la tarde si se ha desatado una lluvia muy fuerte todos estos días.
El miércoles fue día de hacer mercado semanal y eso lo logré muy temprano, después regresé a la casa a seguir mis funciones del día.
El jueves, concreté una diligencia que había postergado desde hace un par de años, por lo tedioso de ir hasta el lugar. Se trataba de movilizar mi documentación de pensionados por el seguro social, y eso consistía en ir a la oficina administrativa que desde hace casi 50 años se encuentra en el mismo lugar, y está bastante alejado de la zona donde vivo.
El seguro social tiene dos sedes, una administrativa que se encuentra en Guanipa, y una de salud que se encuentra en El Tigre. Ambas funcionan para las dos ciudades. La oficina administrativa queda en un sector que hace muchos años no estaba tan poblado, pero ahorita se súper pobló, y el acceso es como entrar a un laberinto de casitas. Si vamos en carro propio, sabemos que desde la avenida principal, podemos llegar derecho con un sólo cruce, pero si me voy en transporte público, debo tomar dos, y el último da muchas vueltas antes de dejarme en el sitio. No es el lugar más seguro del mundo, aparte de lo solitario que se encontraba a esa hora de la mañana, pero no podía pasar más esa diligencia.
De regreso, como era muy temprano, aproveché para fotografiar la plaza y la iglesia de San José, donde bautizaron a mi hijo mayor. Esa parte del pueblo es muy antigua, y las casitas y callejones son típicos de los pueblos llaneros. Algunas calles aún no están pavimentadas, y las casas son muy antiguas, al estilo de antaño. Guanipa, en su zona más tradicional, conserva construcciones muy clásicas, al más puro estilo de los pueblos del llano. Ninguna de las casas tiene características modernas, lo que le confiere un aspecto aún más pintoresco y tradicional. Después de tomar muchas fotos, regresé a casa, pero tengo varias visitas programadas a esta oficina en los próximos días.
Ayer decidí empezar el día con más calma, y aunque mi plan ideal para un día relajado es no levantarme temprano, la relajación fue diferente. Fui al gimnasio, al que no había ido varios días por estar haciendo diligencias. Pero la rutina de ayer no consistió en ejercicios funcionales; fue terapia de danza hawaiana. Sé que tiene un nombre, pero no lo recuerdo.
Fueron dos horas relajantes que pasaron volando. Fue una mezcla de baile suave, yoga y algunos ejercicios funcionales cortos. Una manera maravillosa de terminar una semana ajetreada. Sentí alivio no solo físico, sino también mental, y me ayudó a concentrarme mejor para los próximos días.
