I Am Alive - Post # 180

On August 21, 2024, I finally graduated from Anton de Kom University and can now call myself a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.

I am actually disappointed with how my presentation went.

Five minutes before starting time, the Orientation Coordinator of the discipline came to tell me that I needed to change something in me powerpoint. So I had to hurry. Then I was not yet ready to present and she already gave a signal to start. I started me presentation, forgot to mention my title, and then moved on. Then at slide number three the beamer went down and I couldn't continue presenting. It took several minutes for me to fix the beamer.
But in the meantime it was completely chaotic in my head and I was completely confused. I rattled out the rest of my presentation. Fortunately, I understood from the audience that it wasn't noticeable and that I just came across as confident.

I am now still awaiting my grade on my Bachelor project. I am curious.

There were about 30 people watching in the audience and about 10 online. All in all, a pretty large group. And I was surprised with so many gifts, even from students that come to me for tutor lessons. I'm grateful for all those sweet people. 💙
