Spirit of Determination

In life many things no come easy, and that is where the spirit of determination enter. I remember when I was in school, there was one exam I almost give up on. The course was very hard for me, I read and read but still the thing no enter my head. I even feel like maybe I should just leave it and accept failure. But one voice inside me say try again. That small voice push me to continue.

Every night I carry my book, sometimes I sleep off on top of it. Sometimes I even cry because I don’t understand. But I did not stop. I ask my friends question, I go meet seniors to explain, and little by little I begin to understand. At the end, when the result came out, I pass that course. It was not my best score, but it was a victory to me because I know how much I suffer for it.

That experience show me that determination is not when life is easy, but when it is hard and you still choose to try. Many people stop at the middle because the road rough, but if you push small more, you can see light at the end.

Even now, outside school, I still use the same spirit. Sometimes my work get tough, sometimes things I plan fail, but I tell myself don’t stop. The truth is that determination is like fuel that carry you when strength no dey again.

Anybody can be determined. You don’t need to be the smartest or strongest, you just need to refuse to give up. Once that spirit is in you, there is nothing you cannot achieve.
