EL DESPERTAR DEL ALMA/THE AWAKENING OF THE SOUL

Hola mis querido amigos! El día de hoy les compartiré un dibujo que es mi entrada en el concurso ART EXPLOSION WEEK 63 patrocinado por @juliakponsford. Este dibujo por reglas del concurso debía basarse en la muerte, y con relación a este tema lo he titulado EL DESPERTAR DEL ALMA.

Mi idea de la muerte implica que el alma deja el cuerpo y pasa a formar parte de otro mundo, otro plano espiritual, en donde recibimos ayuda de los ángeles y seres celestiales para despertar a esta nueva vida.

Hello my dear friends! Today I will share a drawing that is my entry in the ART EXPLOSION WEEK 63 contest sponsored by @juliakponsford. This drawing by contest rules should be based on death, and in relation to this subject I have entitled THE AWAKENING OF THE SOUL.

My idea of death implies that the soul leaves the body and becomes part of another world, another spiritual plane, where we receive help from the angels and celestial beings to awaken to this new life.

La técnica que he utilizado es mixta, iniciando con unas figuras en claroscuro, y un paisaje de fondo con el mismo estilo, para concluir con un cielo con un sol poniente hecho con lápices de colores.

The technique I have used is mixed, starting with some figures in chiaroscuro, and a background landscape with the same style, to conclude with a sky with a setting sun made with colored pencils.
