SOLUTION TO MATH EXAMS QUESTION //TRIGONOMETRY Q5//
Hello everyone. It's another beautiful day to share the solution for trigonometry question 5. In today's question we are provided with the value of Sinθ = 0.6, while Cosθ and Tanθ are the unknown values to obtain.
Firstly, in order to obtain the value for Cosθ, I had to use the trigonometry identity formula which is Sin²θ + Cos²θ = 1. Since Sinθ = 0.6, all I needed to do was to substitute the value into the formula to get the value needed which is 0.8
Also, to obtain the value for Tanθ, I had to use the quotient identity formula. where I substituted the value for Sinθ and Cosθ. Such that Tanθ is obtained to be 0.75
