Hello beautiful people of the Afri-tunes Community. It’s your boy @akwash360, and here I come again this week with a Hausa song, “Yesu Masoyina” by Solomon Lange, a gospel singer from the northern part of Nigeria. Although my voice is not yet at its best because I’ve been battling catarrh for a while, I decided that not even that would stop me from participating in this week’s edition, so I had to bring the voice out by fire, by force 😄

I chose to sing this song because it’s one of Solomon Lange’s songs that I truly love. It beautifully describes God’s love for us, and the songwriter declares that no one can separate him from the Lord. I believe I am also a product of God’s love and grace, so proclaiming those same words fills my heart with joy. He is my great Lover, and nothing and no one can separate me from him. His love is so overwhelming that words alone cannot fully describe the great things he has done for me, my family, and my friends. He deserves all the glory, honor, and adoration.
