Sewing boot camp before the world largest Gothic Fest / ソーイングブートキャンプな一週間

I haven't post many this week on Hive, and the reason is… I’ve been busy preparing for the world’s largest gothic festival, Wave-Gotik-Treffen (WGT), which takes place every year in my city! Official Site of Wave-Gotik-Treffen Leipzig ~

I’ve been sewing like crazy the last days, pouring money into lace, and somehow managed to finish costumes for my daughter and myself just in time for yesterday’s pre-meetup at a hat maker's studio. It’s honestly been ridiculously fun 😁

Ahh, I wish I had a studio where I could just leave everything messy! The place I work at is our kitchen — the edge of our micro balcony is peeking out on the right in the photo above.

Today is one of the highlights: the Victorian Picnic. It’s an event where people in costume gather in the park and enjoy the afternoon together in their own way. We’ll be joining too, with snack boxes from a friend’s bakery.

このところHiveの投稿がご無沙汰になってしまっていますが、その理由は・・・我が町で毎年開催される世界最大のゴシックフェスWave Gothik Treffen(WGT)の準備をしているからです。

毎日ガンガンミシンを走らせて、レースに課金しまくって、なんとか昨日のプレミートアップに子供と私のコスチュームが間に合って、びっくりするほどうきうき楽しいです 😁 ああ、散らかし放題にしておけるアトリエがほしい！！ちなみにここはキッチン、写真右端に見えるのが我が家のマイクロバルコニーです。

今日はハイライトの一つ、ヴィクトリアンピクニックがあります。公園にコスチュームを来た人たちが集まって重い思いに時間を過ごすイベントで、私たちもお友達のベーカリーでスナックボックスを買って参加します。
