Back to serious knitting! / 本格的な編み物再開！

As a yarn/fabric store I regularly buy from was closed during lockdown and they had a queue after lockdown, I've been running out of yarn for few months. But I have to finish my daughter's summer sweater before summer ends 😅 So I ordered some yarn online ... I want to support local stores as much as I can but this time I made an exception.

The packet arrived on Needlework Monday! Yuuhuuu!

Talking about the body wash towel, it works fine. I like scrubbing feeling. It can be a bit smaller though ... I'll try to make another one with an lacy pattern.

インターネットショップで注文した毛糸が届きました。

普段は地元のお店をサポートしたいのと、実際毛糸を見たいのとでお店で買うようにしているのですが、ロックダウン中はお店が閉まっていて、ロックダウン後は入店制限でお店の前を何度か通りかかかるも列ができていて、この数ヶ月本格的な編み物をお休みしていました。

ただ、子どものサマーセーターは夏のうちに編み終えたい・・・ということで例外的に毛糸を注文しました。

Needlework Mondayに届くなんて何だか運命的 😁今晩久しぶりにゆっくり編み物をしようと思います。

そうそう、先日作ったリネンのボディータオルはよい感じに柔らかくでもごしごし体を洗えて気に入っています。ただちょっと大きくサイズは改良の余地あり。レースのパターンを試してみたいのでポータブルなプロジェクトとしてまた編み始めようと思っています。

なにはともあれNeedlework Mondayに戻ってこられて嬉しいです。
