 Makeup in my own words is the act of manipulating a person's look using artificial materials to arrive at a desired outcome.

When people are asked what makeup is, its very common to hear them say 'makeup is the enhancement of beauty'. But in a broader sense, makeup entails more. It may be done to make a person look older , younger, slimmer, fatter, finer e.t.c depending on the context in which it is required.
Makeup has evolved in different stages over the years. It started from the time people cared less about their physical appearance to when people would literally give up everything they own to change their look.
An aspect of makeup that has gained popularity in recent years is that of 'special effects' . It's the kind of makeup seen in movie scenes and stuff. Have you ever wondered how injuries and sores are feigned on actors? Well here is a sample...
This is a feigned bacteria infected hot water injury.
Materials I used to achieve this look:
1.Cotton wool

1. Top bond(white gum/adhesive)
2. Foundation.
3. Setting powder
   5.Red dye
4. Black eyeshadow
