AFRICAN AND PROUD
Being African is one of the many assets i've been bestowed with by birth. I wouldn't have wanted anything more. This deep dark skin dripping melanin is not a mistake. Please be proud of your skin and race, for it's what differentiates you from the rest. This powerful photo speaks volume and I hope it drives home my point. She could have been lighter but she chose to be African and proud.
