Trump says the Chinese broke the tariff truce, while china responds saying the United States continues to block its firms and students.

Drama, drama, nobody ever did truly trust the other despite handshakes and lowering tariffs.

America lowered its Chinese tariffs from 145% to 30% and China lowered theirs from 125% to 10%, but here we are, still debating who's a cheat. The US alleges that China took tariffs off but continued with the remaining restrictions like keeping certain US firms on the blacklist and stoping exports of critical materials like the rare earth materials which are absolutely critical for technology.

But while they cliam that, they are also standing in the way of chip sales and cancelling Chinese students' visas.

Here we go again with another drama in which both parties play as if they are playing fair while going around the rules.

It's a standoff game and not a partnership.

This is the reason for my lack of expectation of immediate progress, because as long as the two sides continue to move the goalposts and blame one another, no one wins. Companies simply get the ripple effect and the public receives promises unfulfilled. Leaders in either country aren’t concerned with long-term stability, they are simply attempting to not look weak.

Just the usual powerplay from my point of view.
