Noise

Noise is an unwanted sound that is not pleasant to the ear . It is one form of environmental contamination . Noise is a form of environmental degredation which has implications for health that may be as serious as air or water pollution

SOURCES OF NOISE
Some of the many sources of noise around us include horns from vehicles, sounds from heavy duty lorries, electric generating plants, welders, road side record sellers, etc
A noise produced by a source may benefit or please the producer while it annoys,distracts and disturbs others

Exposure to high level of noise can cause

1. Deafness
2. High level of noise speeds up the pulse and respiratory rate
3. Noise can cause heart attack in individuals suffering from cardiac injury
4. Exposure to loud noise over a long period of time can lead to hypertension and ulcer in human beings
   So with these effects i mentioned and those i did not mention there is need for the introduction of health inspectors in all the states of the nation to control noise makingby all and sundry
