We sailed past the glacier with your hand in mine,

The world was so still, like we were the perfect characters

I loved how you laughed as the snow kissed your hair,

and I thought such beauty would never die.

Now I hear the ocean hum your name below,

The loneliness makes it hard to forget.

Maybe I should have framed that moment

Just before our ship met the ice. Sadly, we met our end.
