Heroes - Serie Amazon Prime Video.

Well, I have to say I just finished watching a series that kept me up many nights because of its great appeal, combining superheroes with drama that feels truly unique. But, just as a friend warned me, "that series is really good, but it got canceled." Nevertheless, I decided to finish it because I really liked the characters and their powers, and they also showed their human side with a touch that made everything feel real.

Bueno, debo decir que acabo de terminar de ver una serie que me dejó muchas noches en desvelo por su gran atractivo con el tema de los superhéroes combinado con drama que se siente verdaderamente único en su estilo. Pero, tal como me advirtió un amigo: "esa serie es muy buena, pero la cancelaron". No obstante, decidí terminarla de ver porque realmente me gustaban mucho los personajes y sus poderes, como también muestran su lado humano con un toque que hace sentir que todo es real.

It begins with a brief introduction that uses images to show how new heroes are "born" after an eclipse grants powers to a select group of humans who, without understanding them, must survive with these powers in a world dominated by others. These heroes are hunted by both militants and others of their own kind, and although some hide, exploit, or are symbols of utter danger, they all must confront their problems in some way.

Esta comienza con una breve introducción que te muestra con imágenes como comienzan a "nacer" nuevos héroes, tras un eclipse que le otorgo poderes a cierta selección de humanos que sin conocimiento deben sobrevivir con ellos en un mundo dominante. Los héroes son personas cazadas tanto por militantes, como por otros de su misma especie y, aunque algunos se ocultan, se aprovechan o son símbolos de peligro total, estos se tienen que enfrentar de algún modo a sus problemas.

In short, it must be said that these people gain their powers as a result of their evolution as a species. I must mention that I particularly enjoyed the opening scene, when one of the main characters states that the cockroach is the longest-surviving living being and that there's a possibility we, as living beings, could one day evolve even further. This establishes from the beginning that their powers are biological and not the result of an experiment, as is often the case in these kinds of stories.

Sin más, hay que decir que estos obtienen poderes como respuesta de una evolución que tuvieron como especie. Dándome lugar a mencionar que me gustó demasiado al inicio, cuando uno de los personajes principales dice que el ser vivo que ha sobrevivido más es la cucaracha y que hay una posibilidad que nosotros como seres vivos, en algún momento, podríamos evolucionar hasta más que eso. Dando a entender desde un inicio que los poderes son biológicos y no parte de un experimento como mayormente se usa en este tipo de historias.

In terms of acting, this show had the best cast. Each actor was perfectly cast for their role, contributing significantly to the plot and delivering masterful performances. However, I must mention that my favorite among all the actors was Zachary Quinto, who played the series' main villain. He masterfully portrayed his character, delivering a captivating performance throughout his character's development, and I was particularly struck by how convincingly he conveyed his facial expressions.

En términos de actuación, este tuvo el mejor elenco. Selectos muy bien para cada uno de sus personajes, todos aportaron una gran trama y, fueron interpretados magistralmente por cada uno de los actores aquí presentes. Por esto, quiero mencionar que entre todos los actores mi favorito fue Zachary Quinto, quien interpretó al villano principal de la serie y quien tuvo un gran manejo de su personaje, interpretándolo fascinantemente en todos los momentos de su desarrollo, llamándome mucho la atención lo convincente que es con sus gestos faciales.

Another detail that kept me glued to the screen was its multiculturalism. While we're used to consuming a lot of American content, this series blended many cultures and people from other countries, giving it diversity while respecting each one and showcasing very accurate details about them. In fact, I was very happy when they showed some scenes in Zulia, Venezuela, my country of birth, at a point where some characters spoke Spanish, but they weren't Venezuelan, I should clarify.

Otro detalle que me dejaba pegada a la pantalla es lo multicultural que fue esta, si bien, nos acostumbra a consumir mucho contenido Estadounidense, esta serie mezclo muchas culturas y personas oriundas de otros países que le dio diversidad a la serie, respetando cada una y mostrando detalles muy acertados de cada una de ellas. De hecho me sentí muy alegre cuando mostraron algunas escenas en Zulia, Venezuela, mi país de nacimiento, en un momento donde se encontraban algunos personajes que hablaban español, pero no eran Venezolanos, aclaro.

Respectfully, I believe the strongest character is Hiro Nakamura, master of space and time, someone who can extricate himself from any situation with just a blink. While he doesn't possess telepathic powers or lightning bolts, he displays a unique and agile intelligence. Being curious and interested in the common good, he uses his powers for good, but if he were evil, I swear he would have caused far too much trouble. Although many claim Peter Petrelli or Sylar are the strongest, Hiro is the one who shapes the story and knows exactly how to handle any situation.

Respetuosamente, opino que el personaje más fuerte es Hiro Nakamura, amo del espacio y tiempo, y alguien quien con solo parpadear una vez, puede librarse de cualquier situación. Y aunque este no es un personaje de poderes telepáticos o con rayos en las manos, muestra una inteligencia diferente y ágil en su mayoría, al ser curioso e interesado en el bien común usa sus poderes para el bien, pero si este hubiese sido malvado juraría que hubiese dado demasiados problemas. Aunque muchos dicen que el más fuerte es Peter Petrelli o Sylar, Hiro es el que marca la historia y sabe muy bien como manejar las situaciones.

To conclude, I must say I was very disappointed with the series finale, not because it was bad, but because I feel there was more to tell, or at least they should have planned a final season. There were stories left unresolved, or at least giving each character a proper ending would have been a very nice touch. While this detail is lacking in the series, there is a sequel that I plan to watch soon when I find a site that has it. But at least this first season is on Prime Video, at least in Colombia. Keep in mind that availability may vary depending on your location. With nothing more to add, thanks for reading.

Para finalizar, debo decir que quedé muy decepcionada con el final de la serie, no porque haya sido mala, sino que siento que había un poco más que contar, o al menos debieron planearle una temporada final, historias que faltaron por completar o al menos que le hubiesen dado un final digno a cada uno hubiese sido un muy buen gesto. Si bien este detalle falta en la serie, pues existe una secuela que planeo ver próximamente cuando consiga una página que la tenga, pero al menos esta primera serie está en Prime Video, al menos en Colombia, recuerden que esta puede cambiar dependiendo de su ubicación.
