Hello, my friends in the Pukumundo community. Nice to meet you and happy to be back in this cool community. So, our drummer hasn't been able to come with us here, so in this video, we're changing the formation a bit. Our vocalist played drums and vocals were replaced by our guitarist for a while.

Okay, today we will cover a traditional song from the province of North Sumatra. The song is titled Pulau Samosir, with Batak language lyrics. Samosir Island is a small island located in a large lake called Lake Toba. According to anthropology, the Batak tribe comes from the island of Samosir. Until now, the island of Samosir is still inhabited by the Batak tribe.

Lake Toba which surrounds the island of Samosir is a volcanic lake formed from the eruption of Mount Toba which erupted 75,000 years ago. It is said that the volcanic eruption killed half the population on earth. It is terrible if the mountain erupts again.
