Trust the Process (Even When You Can't See the Outcome)
You Know how You Want something Badly and it’s obvious you do, Buh Despite How Hard you try it seems The walls are Just Up against You, Feels like Nothing Is even working No matter how hard you try, Yeah? That was me — during the early weeks of my frontend web development bootcamp.
I joined the bootcamp two weeks late. Now, two weeks might not sound like a lot — Buh it meant I had missed out on a lot of stuff, Everyone else was already miles ahead. Meanwhile, I was just trying to figure out how to open VS Code properly.
But here’s the thing — I really wanted it. I’d always been passionate about tech, and I knew this was the path I wanted to take. and i was very determined to make up for the Stuff i missed out on, So I made a decision: I was gonna work twice as hard to catch up, Binged YouTube tutorials ’til 2 AM (not fun, trust me). Stayed after class every single day, just trying to make sense of HTML and CSS. And still… nothing. My code broke. My layouts looked like abstract art. I felt like I was speaking a language nobody understood.
Then, one day, a friend said something that stuck. He said, “Bro, this is part of the process. You’ve already put in so much — don’t stop now. You just have to trust it’ll all come together.” And honestly? That stuck. Hard. “Trust the process.” He was right. I didn’t need it to be easy right away. I just needed to believe the effort would eventually make sense. So I kept going. . I stopped expecting overnight magic. I showed up. Messed up. Fixed it. Repeat. Did it get easier? Not right away. But slowly… I cared less about being perfect and more about just doing the thing. The frustration didn’t vanish, but now I had a reason to push: This is just part of it. Keep going .But I had a purpose now. I understood that frustration wasn’t failure — it was growth. Quiet, invisible growth that only shows itself later, when you realize you’ve come farther than you thought.
And guess what? That "nothing is working" phase? It's a chapter almost everyone goes through when chasing something meaningful. Whether it's learning to code, starting a business, or trying to get your life together — the beginning is always messy. But trust me… the process works — if you keep showing up. if you’re in that spot right now — feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like you’re not moving forward — I’ve been there. You’re not alone. Just take a breath, keep going, and remember: The outcome isn’t always visible at the start. But the process is building you, even when you can’t see it.
