Dark Souls 2
FINALLY finished Dark Souls 2! I give it a 7.5/10. It's not terrible by any means, once you get your head around the mechanics the combat is quite fun.
Things it does better than Dark Souls 1:
some of the fits go hard ngl
dual wielding and using some of the new weapons is fun to try
it's a bit more fluid than ds1 in some areas. Everything runs faster.
You can travel between bonfires from the very start
Things I didn't like:
the freaking minions/regular enemies are more challenging than the bosses for some reason, making the boss battles fall flat a lot of the times. I think I ended up defeating most bosses on the first or second try but then dying many many times because the game just likes to spam you with enemies in tight corners and make it impossible to take on mobs.
making it a necessity to upgrade the ADP stat just so you can roll normally and dodge attacks. If you don't upgrade it enough, your healing takes forever, and enemies can hurt you even if you roll through their attacks. This was not in DS1 and I hope it's not in DS3 when I play it later.
-could not give two hoots about the story. liked majula though.
