CONSISTENCY PAYS... EVENTUALLY

She's panting.Breathless...

Just finished a whooping three laps round the school football field,she's definitely feeling the burn.

Her roommates stare at her in awe.
"Wow at this rate she'll be as shapely as Kim Kardashian,maybe more".

She walks haughtily to her cupboard.
Opens it viciously, drags out a jumbo sized bag of cornflakes.
Dumps it into a bowl fit enough to swallow Humpty Dumpty.
Pours an insane amount of milk with sugar that could give the inhabitants of a small island diabetes.

And just when her roommates thought it was over, she ups the ante by pulling out of her fridge,a huge tub of ice cream she had bought the other day at the mall and a bag of chocolate chip cookies.

It was gone.The whole thing was gone.

She belches satisfactorily as she packs up her stuff.

"Mogbe! Ah,Nikky, didn't you just finish jogging?"

She sneers. "Ehen, and so. I should faint nah, amebo".

Hissing angrily, she leaves the room. Taking a loaf of bread and super chunky peanut butter with her.

Success only comes with consistent hardwork, you don't move forward by dragging yourself back.

One step forward, two steps back doesn't make a journey.

Keep doing that good work your doing, keep hitting those books, keep trying to be the best of who you are.

Don't slack. I'll try not to too. It pays off someday.

This is for all the redfishes and minnows who are having a hard time getting people to see their work. I hope you smile and pick up your laptops and phones when you read this.

Don't try to please everyone. Write what moves you. Write your story.

Remember, It's all a matter of time and crazy luck. keep steeming strong
