Sand Storm Nearly Gets Me
While the rest of Texas deals with horrendous heat, we have been dodging downpours of monsoon rains and near hurricane-force winds.
In this video, I had made it around from the back part of the property to the front porch when the wind and dust hit. I recorded as long as I could before it really picked up, as you can see at the end of this short video.
The visibility got so bad that you couldn't see Twin Peaks off in the distance. Heck, you couldn't even see 200 feet in front of you!
Fortunately, the only damage to the property occurred in the trees. Oh, and someone's kiddy pool blew into our yard. No one claimed it, so the dogs have been enjoying it.
