WHY I ALWAYS REMEMBER MY SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHER

As we all know, learning is a continuous process, and the knowledge we acquire in our daily life is most times imparted by others through teaching, and other times it is something we learn by ourselves. Teaching is something that everyone one of us must have come across in many different ways, and those ways are essential. In terms of school teaching, many teachers do their best to make sure that students learn in a good way and also encourage them to keep learning because learning is a continuous process, as much as life keeps moving forward.

Also, there were some moments when I came across a secondary school teacher who wasn't very concerned about his students. I'm not saying that he was a bad teacher, but he teaches in a way that if about 50% of students in his class understand his teachings, then he proceeds with his teaching without considering the rest of the students. Well, I believe that is his own way of teaching, but nevertheless, I also had so many responsible teachers who put in effort to make sure that their students not only learn and understand their teaching but also encourage us to take our studies seriously and keep going even when learning feels difficult.

One of my secondary school teachers that I always remember is my literature teacher, Mr. Geoffrey. I like Mr. Geoffrey very much because he was the type of teacher that doesn't consider very much about his level as a teacher. He lowered his level when teaching us in the classroom. His major concern is for us to learn. Mr. Geoffrey was also my favorite teacher that I had in secondary school, and one thing I love about him is his lifestyle. In as much as he taught us well during lesson periods, he was also very kind to me, to the extent that he treats me like his friend. Not just me, but many of his students in secondary school.

He also likes living a simple life. I mean, he doesn't dress anyhow, nor does he have a bad character. One of the things he does most is that he never jokes once he is very serious. Asides from the fact that he is simple and calm, he was never weak, and he doesn't tolerate disrespect. And that is one of the major reasons why I always remember him till date.
