First Time Making A Wooden Ring
Hey all
Hope you are all doing well and thanks for dropping by.
Told has been a rather fun day and ive actually been able to get a couple of hours outside making things.
Me and my partner are getting married next year and I've been saying I wouldn't mind a wooden Wedding ring.
Now, I'm a clumsy fellow and don't like wearing jewellery as they irritate me, so I want something that I would enjoy wearing.
Some wooden rings cost upwards of £500+ and they don't have a long life span if you don't look after them, which I feel will be me 😅
So I thought, heck I'll give it a go and try and make one myself.
This is what it ended up looking like
I'm by no fashion a qualified or overly skilled woodwork, but this was an amazing outcome and fairly round!
I've slowly built my skills in woodwork over the last few years as a self taught woodworker.
The grain looks lovely and it shows up really nicely the whole way round, inside and out.
This was made on a random piece of wood I had in the workshop as I didn't think I'd actually succeed in making one.
Only problem now is that my son wants one so I guess I'll be back out soon making him one 😅
