People can seriously think that responsibilities are equivalent to the age, and it is a chief error. Many tend to think that with age, there’s an acquisition of such characteristic and people are more responsible as they age. But this number is not always true More on concept. This is to mean that responsibility is not an inborn virtue but rather, a fruit of experience, personal values and decisions. Although some sort, of life experiences may be associated with age which might facilitate an understanding of responsibility, responsibility is not defined by age.

It should be noted that at present there are many youths who show good voluntary behaviors in many spheres of their lives. Some of them may serve as leaders in school, engage in community services, organization or hold responsible positions in whatever company they maybe working. By these individuals, one learns that responsibility does not fall under the domain of the age of a person but from such character strengths as being reliable, accountable as well as one with integrity.

Therefore, it is high time to free ourselves from the stereotype that responsibility is associated with age, and learn how to cultivate the feeling of responsibility in people of different age.
