Entry to the Round 163 Reflection Hunters Contest - Reflections on the Floor - Reflejos en el Piso

Cities are the ideal places to find beautiful reflections, but in many occasions these usually go unnoticed, because they are so commonplace that they become part of the normality of our daily life, but the truth is that when we take a second and detail the figures present in our environment we realize that there are shapes and shades that are really fascinating. It is there where we discover that reflections play a fundamental role in the decoration of interior spaces, making these places much more pleasant, with their own characteristics and with a more cheerful spirit.

On this occasion, while touring the spaces of the Plaza Venezuela station of line 1 of the Caracas Metro, I came across a newly polished granite floor, where the incandescence of the ceiling lights is reflected perfectly on a surface that, due to its perfectly smooth characteristics, seems more like a mirror that gives us a dance of lights and a great variety of shades.

Las ciudades son los lugares ideales para encontrar lindos reflejos, pero en muchas ocasiones estos suelen pasar desapercibidos, ya que nos resultan tan cotidianos que se vuelven parte de la normalidad de nuestro día a día, pero la verdad es que cuando nos tomamos un segundo y detallamos las figuras presentes en nuestro entorno nos damos cuenta de que existen formas y matices que son realmente fascinantes. Es allí en donde descubrimos que los reflejos juegan un papel fundamental dentro del decorado propio de espacios interiores, haciendo de estos lugares estancias mucho más agradables, con características propias y con un espíritu más alegre.

En esta oportunidad mientras recorría los espacios de la estación Plaza Venezuela de la línea 1 del Metro de Caracas, me encontré con un piso de granito recién pulido, en donde la incandescencia de las luminarias del techo se reflejan de manera perfecta sobre una superficie que por sus características perfectamente lisas pareciera más bien un espejo que nos regala una danza de luces y una gran variedad de matices.
