I took my daughter to school and waited quite a while for her to come out of class, so it was around noon—or almost—it must have been a little past 11:30 a.m., and the relentless sun that’s typical of some parts of the country was beating down. One of the things about college is that it brings back fond memories of when I was a student, and honestly, there’s no better time than being a student—especially in college.

I think college is when we really develop our character and maturity—everything is so different. Now it’s my daughter’s turn to experience this wonderful time. Here, parents don’t have much say; students start taking care of themselves. Still, every now and then we go for a drive to pick up or drop off our daughter.

On hot days, there’s nothing better than a good ice cream. There aren’t many options here, but since I love it so much, I didn’t pass up the chance to try these delicious ice creams—which, as I can confirm, are really good and help make for a nice change of pace.

Ice cream is the best way to share a special moment and do something different. My daughter and I had a special time together, and as the slogan in the photo says, it tastes amazing—well, maybe not quite that much, but it does taste delicious and creamy. I really liked the shape of the cart and the colors of the truck, and the service is great—the people who work there are very friendly. Here are a few photos of that little moment.
