Ice Pixie | Splinterlands Art Contest Week 287!

Had this in my drafts for a very long time and figured it would be a waste if I did not publish this, after all it is my work and something I should be proud of. It was supposed to be an entry for week 260 but I was busy at the time and haven't got the time to blog but here I am now with my Ice Pixie fanart for Splinterlands Art Contest Week 287!. (27 weeks later lol)

It was a very lazy attempt at the time. I did not make sketches nor line arts. It was my way of trying to fight my art block. Unfortunately, it did not work and my following days had become busy. I did this last year September. Even posted the speed paint on my Youtube and Tiktok account but haven't had the chance to blog this so I'm doing it now :').

Ice Pixie

Illustration Process

First thing that I did is use the skin's base color to create the shape of the Ice Pixie's pose. I did use an eraser tool to adjust some shapes.

Next, I used some lighter shades to add lightings then added the Ice pixie's wings. I also prepared and outline for the hair and eyes.

Then I did a little trial and error in coloring the skin and the hair, as well as the lips (wasn't really sure what I was doing here lol). And, I also added the clothes.

I blended the colors, added details for the ear, did some blurring, and added sparkles on the wings.

Lastly, I added some glowy effects for the eyes, wings, and some surrounding the pixie. I also added crystal-like bits for added effects.

This artwork might be created last year September but I still wanted to share it. It's a waste to let it sit in my drafts. I'm planning on going back to drawing again for a little bit which is why I posted this. I have another drawing in progress now and will probably post next week :). I might be busy again but since I've got time for now, I'll be drawing for a little.
