Art Request #3 - Ichika Nakano
Hello! I'm back with another fan art.
Today we have here an art request from 
The request was either Paimon from Genshin Impact or Ichika Nakano from 5 Toubun no Hanayome. I've been drawing more Genshin Impact lately so I picked Ichika to try something new.
I've been hearing the anime but I haven't watched it yet myself so I'm not that sure what kind of a person she is. I did some research and what most hit me is that she wears a fake smile since she is the oldest and to make herself approachable.
This was done on my pen tablet and Clip Studio Paint.
Here is the process.
Sketch
Firstly we have the sketch, I'm not really confident here if I could make Ichika's face correctly. It first felt like I can't do the anime's art style and I kind of don't know what to do. So I just made a rough sketch of her pose and decided to resolve the problem in the line art.
Line art
The details were done here in the line art. I was relieved that I kind of got her face right. I'm not really good at making creases on clothes so I'm also glad that it turned out alright.
Base Color
After line art, of course we will now go into coloring. The base colors were placed to serve as a guide so I can just use eye dropper and adjust it to make its darker or lighter color.
Shading and Lighting
In shading and lighting, I did not use "multiply" effect on layer that much instead I just adjusted the brightness and darkness from the base color.
Eyes, Hair, and Skin
Clothes
Background
Lastly is the background, wherein I put Ichika's name and placed a colored shadow.
