ATTENTION & LOVE are not the same thing!

You can be loved, lovable and love others without being the center of attention - in fact, you can be all those things even when no one is around because love is not an action per se, but a way of being in the world.

When we were small children we often connected our parent's attention with that of love and so, many of us seek attention as the main way to experience and allow ourselves to receive love. This is not our fault - it's simply a misunderstanding from a place of pure innocence.

You have the opportunity now to start releasing this and un-programming this from your system. Practice love without needing peoples attention, and you will come to see it for yourself. And strangely enough, people will love you for it without any effort from you to prove your worth or persuade them.
