Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving. To commemorate this festive event, I asked Night Cafe to generate an image of a turkey wielding a blunderbuss. Turkeys in the pioneer days were notoriously tough. I thought the image would make a fun #meme .

I live in the Western US. HIVE operates on UTC and the UTC Thanksgiving is over before our Thanksgiving Dinner begins; So, I cannot show images of the feast only the preparation.

This year I will bring a bottle of Black Currant Wine by The Hive Winery to the feast.

Yes, that's right. The Hive Blockchain funded the creation of a winery.

Either that or one in eight businesses in The Beehive State uses a bee related reference in their name. Anyway I thought I would quip that I bought some Hive wine with HIVE. A bottle costs about 100 HIVE.

The picture shows the wine framed by Utah's Mt Olympus. The wine has a tag reading "Utah's Own" as a reminder to buy local as local purchases help support the local community.

Finally, I mixed up some eggnog. The trick to eggnog is to add the brandy to the eggs at the beginning of the process as the alcohol preserves the eggs.
