El Café Columnata/ The Colonnade Café
[ESP-ING]
The Egyptian Colonnade is a beautiful café on Mercaderes Street. In the 19th century it was frequented by Eca de Queiroz, a Portuguese writer of the realist movement, who was also a lawyer and Portuguese ambassador in Havana.
Nowadays they sell coffee and infusions, and from time to time you can enjoy some candy or ice cream, but it's a good time, and at least it's a place to get away from the heat.
