La música y la escritura siempre han sido mis verdaderos refugios, mis maneras de conectar con mis sentimientos.

Pero, de repente, hace unos cinco años, me surgió la necesidad incursionar en la realización de vídeos.

Este que les muestro es uno de mis preferidos por su estética y coherencia al combinar el alto nivel interpretativo del español Luís Gardey y la acertada selección de imágenes danzarias que lo complentan.

La canción “Somos Tú y Yo”, fue escrita por Juan Pardo y pertenece al disco homónimo publicado en 1971 por el sello Philips y figura como uno de los temas principales del LP.

En ella Luis Gardey nos regala un instante de intimidad que se convierte en memoria compartida llegando a convertirse en una de las señas de identidad de Gardey en esa etapa de su carrera.

No solo me inspiró el carácter sublime que él imprime a la interpretación, sino también las ganas de recuperar canciones como esa, cuyo valor sentimental y cultural es de altísima factura.

Confieso que, sentí nostalgia de aquellos tiempos que parecen lejanos, pero que sigo teniendo presentes en mi recuerdos junto a la satisfacción pretendida de poder atraer la atención de las nuevas generaciones para su apreciación...
