Kingfisher
Red-nosed kingfishers are an extensive genus with about 80 common forms. in Africa, South Asia, Australia and on many islands of the Great Ocean. They are distinguished by a very thick, wide beak at the base (its width here is not less than the height), which is red in adults. Its crest is not costal, but wide, rounded; the tail is long, longer than the beak. Otherwise, they are similar in structure to other kingfishers. Many species live in forests and completely dry areas, feeding on insects, small terrestrial vertebrates, etc.
