Hola comunidad @Music . Soy Yeni Turiño, cantautora #cubana y quisera contarles la historia de las fotos que verán a continuación. Próximamente estaré compartiendo mi música en esta comunidad.

Una vez me dió por Cantar "Cabaret" de Liza Minelli, la versión de la película del mismo nombre. Veía el Cabaret como algo lejano para mí.

Gracias al promotor, actor y director del Centro Cultural El Mejunje en Santa Clara, Ramón Silverio llegué a una noche de Cabaret en este lugar.

Me sentía muy rara sin la guitarra en la mano y llena de brillos, lentejuelas y maquillaje, cosas que en mi vida diaria no son muy comunes.

Silverio me dijo que tenía que salir de mi zona de confort y así lo hice.

Hoy, la guitarra es lo que me identifica, pero esa noche descubrí que somos capaces de mucho más de lo que realmente pensamos. Así que cuando sueñes con algo que parezca imposible solo tienes que pensar: ¿POR QUÉ NO?

The Cabaret

Hello community @Music. I am Yeni Turiño, Cuban singer-songwriter and I would like to tell you the story of the #photos you will see below. I will be sharing my music in this community soon.

Once I was about to #sing "Cabaret" by Liza Minelli, the version of the film of the same name. I saw the cabaret as something distant for me.

Thanks to the promoter, actor and director of the El Mejunje Cultural Center in Santa Clara, Ramón Silverio arrived at a cabaret night in this place.

I felt very rare without the guitar in my hand and full of brightness, sequins and makeup, things that in my daily life are not very common.

Silverio told me that I had to leave my comfort zone and I did so.

Today, the #guitar is what identifies me, but that night I discovered that we are capable of much more than we really think. So when you #dream of something that seems impossible you just have to think: why not?
