A poem for him
To my best friend, my companion, my love,
but you can always call on me.
Anytime your heart needs
reassuring, call on me.
I'll try my best to fix it up
with smiles and laughter,
even if I'll look crazy.
I'll bring you comfort
to replace each fear,
and I'll hold your hand
until each one is gone.
I'll always let you feel that
you are not alone -
even if I'm not by your side.
I'll do all it takes to show you
that I care -
no matter what time of day it is,
the reason, or the need.
You see, I'm here for you,
and that means not just
for a moment, or a day,
but always.
