Mount Fuji from the sky
While I was on the return trip from Tokyo, an announcement from captain telling us that Mount Fuji was on the right. All in a sudden, all passengers leaning towards the windows to see this unbelievable scene. The weather was so clear that we were able to see the entire Mount Fuji clearly from the sky.
If you were not familiar with Mount Fuji, it is one of the top sight seeing spot in Japan. Surrounded by five lakes, the views of this big volcano are all spectacular from different angles. It is also highly recommended to do hiking during summer time. But if you would like to climb to the top, you have to spend a night in the middle because it is quite impossible to make a return trip in one day.
I know that another easy way to view Mount Fuji is to take the train (Shinkansen) from Tokyo to Osaka. Around Shin-Fuji station, you may enjoy the best view. Don't forget to bring a Bento too :)
