Fact about the Eurovision
Today I learned that at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1978, due to the protracted voting period, "Avnavi" was declared the winning song only at 1:10 am Israel time. Israeli television, which bought satellite time until 01:00, was left with no satellite image and did not broadcast Israel's historic live broadcast.
