Date with a friend

It was a beautiful Thursday afternoon and i got a message from a special friend who wanted me to follow him on a date, trust me not to say NO cause you know am a foodie. I quickly jumped on the offer. We’ve been friends for quite sometime now and he has always been there for me when i need help and his also been a good friend, like wise same here.

He asked that i picked a date and a location. That was a very difficult task cause i had a lot of places in mind i wanted to go but i wanted to pick a place i was pretty sure that the food was a ten over ten for me. I quickly went on TikTok and googled for places with nice aesthetics and good food and i came up with like 5 places. After which i shared with my colleagues at work and they helped me pick TAJ and SORA and i was asked to decide on which i wanted.

I decided to go with TAJ cause it was more affordable and the review on the food was good. So i picked sunday by 2:30pm which was more convenient for me cause i had a busy Saturday. I booked my makeup for Sunday 12noon and everything was set.
On Sunday, went to church and i got back, quickly got ready and went for my makeup. My friend was ready by 2pm and was calling to come pick me up, so i shared my location and got ready from the makeup studio, there was no time for me to go home as i was already late for my date.

We finally got there at about 3:15pm, and trust me to start ordering for wine and food which was lamb chops and smoky jollof rice immediately cause i couldnt wait. The service there was ten out of ten and the waitress was quick to take our order and deliver it.

The food tasted really good, and i really enjoyed every bit of it. After our meal, we were told that there was a place downstairs we could take pictures and it was free. When we got downstairs there was a staff there that was willing to help take pictures of us. It was a fun filled sunday evening. After taking pictures, we went back home.
