If you have visited the Basantapur durbar square of Kathmandu valley, and haven't seen him carrying flag and walking around the area, then I don't where you have been.
Laxmi Narayan Shilpakar is his real real but he has become popular all over the Nepal with the name 'Flag Man'. Why?
Because he has travelled all districts of Nepal on foot carrying the Nepal flag.
His journey of visiting all the district started on November 17, 2015 and it has come to an end . The main motto of his visit was recognition of the Nepalese flag. On an span of 5 months, he was able to reached headquarter of every districts. After the completion of his journey, he has returned to the town where he waived the national flag at daytime in basantapur durbar square area to attract locals and foreigners.
He is the resident of kalimati which also lies in capital city.
